Our Location
In an effort to protect the reefs and natural wildlife, the state of Hawaii has installed over 80 mooring buoys each surrounded by some of the most beautiful reefs, lava formations, and underwater structures in the world. HBC will provide the GPS coordinates for ease of navigation to some of the best locations up and down the Kona/Kohala coast. Amazing reefs, lava formations and underwater structures can be experienced via the Mooring Buoys. The marine life is an array of colorful and exotic fish, as well as the Honu or Green Sea Turtle.
People from around the world will travel to the waters off the Kona/Kohala coast on a quest to catch some of the most highly prized fish in the world. Here at HBC, we provide all necessary gear to our members and assist in training to get our members from novice to expert level anglers.
Between November-April is considered Whale season in Hawaii. The whale has a strong cultural value in Hawaii as they are considered the representation of the Hawaiian god Kanaloa-the god of all ocean life.
